When I first saw this recipe a while back, I was a bit skeptical.
It looked easy enough, and it certainly looked tasty enough,
but I was thinking about one of the ingredients and it kind of threw me.
I did a thorough look at all the reviews and decided to try it.
The recipe calls for layers of crescent roll dough, meats, cheeses, and roasted peppers...then you pour beaten eggs over the ingredients. For whatever reason, the addition of eggs really threw me for a loop. I couldn't understand why you need eggs on a sub!
As you can see above, it turns out that the eggs really work in holding the ingredients together and the dough cooks up perfectly.
Eating this with your hands isn't really the way to go.
With all that gooey cheese...you'll want to use a knife and fork.
